Braille Signage Requirements

• Display Requirements: All buildings approved after May 1, 2011, must display either left-hand or right-hand transfer signage.
• Compliance Standards: All braille signs meet the requirements set forth in BCA 2011 Volume One, Section D3.6 of the Building Code of Australia and comply with Australian Standard AS 1428.1.
• Material and Installation: Braille signs are constructed from plastic laminate and are provided with double-sided tape for quick and easy installation.
