Requirements for Braille Signage:

1. Building Approval Date:
   All buildings approved after 1 May 2011 must display either left-hand or right-hand transfer.
2. Compliance Standards:
   All Braille signs are fully compliant with:

    

   • BCA 2011 Volume One, Section D3.6 of the Building Code of Australia
   • Australian Standard AS 1428.1
3. Material and Installation:
   Braille signs are made from plastic laminate and come with double-sided tape for quick installation.
